Staff and/or resident leaders educate residents about local community-based resources. Evidence that supervisors (including top management) create a positive, productive work environment for staff. Job descriptions require staff to facilitate access to local community-based resources. Peer support interactions among residents are facilitated to expand responsibilities for personal and community recovery. Each Rejuvenate Sober Home has a  live-in House Manager to provide on-site support, guidance and accountabilty for our residents and their recovery.

For those who are in recovery from a wide range of drug or alcohol addiction issues, sober living is often the next step following treatment but before heading out to live a sober lifestyle on their own. Deposit and any difference beyond covered mash certified sober homes monthly program fees are the responsibility of the client. Supportive Sober Living Environment

Documentation that residents are oriented to emergency procedures. Documentation that emergency contact information is collected from residents. Operator will attest that electrical, mechanical, and structural components of the property are functional and free of fire and safety hazards. Verification that a meeting space is large enough to accommodate all residents. Policies and procedures that serve the priority population, which at a minimum include persons in recovery from substance use but may also include other demographic criteria. Evidence that some rules are made by the residents that the residents (not the staff) implement.

Sober living is not for everyone so it’s important to make sure that when you enter a sober house you are ready to remain clean and sober. If you haven’t already completed at least some treatment for addiction or if you haven’t made your way through detox, it’s a good idea to do that first. Minnesota sober living homes are currently not required to get licensed or certified in order to operate in the state. As such, sober living homes in Minnesota have a negative reputation for being unruly, unregulated, and dangerous places, although the reality of the situation is likely less severe than NIMBYs make it seem. The NUWAY Alliance is a nonprofit organization created in October 2019 to provide leadership, innovation, and recovery access in response to national and local trends in behavioral healthcare.

Northwest Recovery Center

This provider does not offer other services or resources at this location. Residents are linked to mutual aid, recovery activities and recovery advocacy opportunities. Evidence that mechanisms exist for residents to inform and help guide operations and advocate for community-building. Verification that Naloxone is accessible at each location, and appropriate individuals are knowledgeable and trained in its use.
